Pastor's Perspective: Illusive Peace
We are back in the New Testament for our Sunday AM studies! This week we start the book of Galatians. This Epistle, written by the Apostle Paul, brings hope and freedom while boldly addressing a cancer in the church, legalism.
Grace and peace should be the trademark for all believers in Jesus Christ. When these 2 exist, love flows unhindered. By the time we get to chapter 5, the fruit of the Spirit should be ripe for the picking at CCF! This Sunday we will address the often illusive peace. Why is this so often missing in our lives?
Outreach!
- We are one week away from our mission trip to Rock Ministries in Kensington, PA. Please be in prayer for the team preparing to go.
- "Second Friday's": tomorrow will be the first of our monthly coffee shop outreach. Live music, good coffee in the Overflowing Cup, and the opportunity to pray for those who show up at our parking lot.
- We also have a golden opportunity to store up treasure in heaven. Our children's ministry continues to grow and we are accepting applications for teachers, helpers and VIP's. This need in immediate, and the blessings are amazing.
- VBS is also just around the corner, we have 42 children registered, praying for 100, spread the word and register on the church app.
Enjoy the Spring, it will be gone quickly.
See you Sunday.
