Pastor's Perspective: Windstorm of the Holy Spirit
Dear Church Family,
The person and work of Holy Spirit is on full display throughout the book of Acts. On Sunday we will begin chapter 2 where the Holy Spirit introduces Himself to the church in a radical way. This should give us a good indication that He desires to be a difference maker in any gathering of believers, may we never hinder His work among us. God, open up our hearts to seek the fullness of your presence. The men and women gathered in that upper room where in eager anticipation, and were greatly affected by the presence of God. May we unite as a church family, with eager expectation for a fresh work of the Holy Spirit in our day.
Sunday is family day at CCF. These are special times together, and this one will include a meal together. Chicken will be provided, please bring a side, salad and dessert to share with others.
We will conclude our service on Sunday with a young couple exchanging wedding vows. They would like our entire church family to be present as they give themselves to the Lord and to each other as husband and wife. Come prepared to cheer them on, and surround them with love and support!
See you Sunday!
