Pastor's Perspective: "When Faith Falters"

Good morning, Church Family,

We are entering an absolutely beautiful season of the year. The grass is greening up, and the redbud trees are beginning to bloom. Drink it in while the cup of spring is being served—it passes quickly.

In chapters 15–17 of Joshua, we see the fading of a season of conquering the land. As the army spread across the land of promise, the responsibility of leadership needed to expand with it. Each tribe was given its allotted area to eradicate evil and establish order. It was no longer just the faith of Joshua that was needed—another generation needed to step up to the plate.

The need for expanding leadership is often the bottleneck of ministry in the church today as well. May each of us look to the giver of gifts, Jesus Christ, for our next step of service. I am so very thankful for all that God is doing among us!

The month of April will be very special as we prepare for the greatest celebration of the Christian faith—the death and resurrection of our Lord. Prepare your heart for revival.

Much love,
Pastor Marv
