Don’t be afraid: from now on you will fish for people” Luke 5:10

Jesus of Nazareth is looking for people through which he can work. He told Peter (Luke 5:10b) of this need and today, about 2,000 years later, His Word tells you of this need. Jesus wants to work through you – how wonderful! Let us look at how our lives and this local Church reflect Jesus. Let us look at how how we give glory to Him by reflecting His light. Be ready for the opportunities before you to be used of Him.

Come prepared to Worship a Risen Savior on Sunday morning at 10 am. We will feel His presence and see His love by His Spirit, in one another’s smiles and hear of it in the hymns and in the preaching from His Word. Prayer and preparation are occurring for a special time of celebration and Worship. Your joyful presence will be a blessing to our Savior and to your brothers and sisters.

We must all remember that our Savior and our Heavenly Father does – most certainly according to His Word – want our presence. You are made in His image and you are His child! Look to Him today in all areas of your life – spiritually, mentally and physically. Depend on Him in your decision making. As a believer - this dependence will allow your presence to be with and in Him. We must stay yoked to His Word, yoked to His Church and to His Spirit – yoked. Jesus tells us our helper in the Holy Spirit is essential in keeping our presence in Him. He never leaves you and His love for you, as seen in His Spirit, is all encompassing. What encouragement!

The CCF Church family also meets to pray together each Sunday morning at 9 am in the prayer room. The believers that meet pray as the Spirt leads and your presence would be most welcome. If you have not yet been a part of this prayer time – plan to be there this Sunday. You will bless God and others!

Dawson Fisher will take us into God’s Word preaching through Luke chapter 4 verse 14 to chapter 5 verse 11. We will see how Jesus deals with being rejected, how he casts out demons, how he heals people and how he calls His disciples. As you prepare for Worship and the message that God will have specifically for you Sunday – reflect on how He called you. How sweet that reflection will be. Please pray today for Dawson as he prepares God’s message.

Blessings to you today as you serve Him. Blessings to you as you appreciate all the little things in the day and all the details of the people God has put in your path.

“Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” Revelation 7:12
