Choir: Our Choir get-together will take place this Saturday, September 5th at 6:00pm in the CC Center. If you plan on being a part of the choir, feel free to attend even it you have not signed-up. Practice cd’s and books will be distributed. Please bring a main dish and a side or desert.



Edge Event: Sunday, September 6 @ 6:30pm. Welcome Back College Students! We will be having a Back to School Party on the front lawn on the church with a Subway Dinner. The Edge is for post-high and college & career. For info or if you have questions, contact Steve Lapp (434-547-2860)



Virginia Calvary Chapel Men’s Retreat: September 11-12. Virginia United Methodist Assembly Center, Blackstone, VA. Join with men from across our region for a time of teaching by Gayle Erwin, along with fellowship & free time. Brochures and sign-up at the Welcome Center. Sign-up by August 23rd. Cost $100


Calvary Chapel Radio: We are praying about what our involvement may be in bringing CC Radio to Farmville. If you are interested in a financial contribution toward the purchase of the radio station or have questions about it, please contact Pastor Lee.


Fellowship Meal: Sunday, September 27th following the service we will meet for a BLT and Salad meal. Please bring a salad (any type) and a dessert to share, the church will provide the BLT’s!


THE D.R.I.V.E. After School Program: 3:30pm. This program focuses on developing young people spiritually, academically, physically, mentally and socially. The program will serve students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Visit our resource table for applica-tions.
