10/21 Pastor’s Perspective

Oct 21, 2022    Pastor Marv Fisher

Good Morning Calvary Chapel Family,

This past year, many in our church family experienced a revival of the heart, myself included. The Holy Spirit desires to fill our hearts to overflowing. Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. May we all continue asking for the fullness of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and may we yield our hearts and lives to the good purpose and plan of God for our personal lives and the life of our church!

This Sunday, Oct 23rd we will be offering another opportunity for public baptism, the theme of the morning will be "something greater", from Luke 11:27-32. Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and be baptized. This powerful, public surrender can be life changing. Join me in prayer for a wonderful work of the Spirit, stirring our hearts to follow God fully, embracing the grace and love of the Father, as we take this step of faith or support those who do.

Here are a few upcoming events for your consideration and prayer:

Fall Festival: Let's all gather at the Moyer Farm on Sunday Oct 30th, 4:00 PM, to celebrate and worship the Lord for His gracious provisions
Serve & Protect Sunday: Sunday AM, Nov 6th we will have a time of prayer for all first responders serving in our community. Please invite those you know or come in contact with. We will share a meal following the service.
Kentucky Bus Trip: Signups are continuing for the January 17-20, 2023 bus trip to the Creation Museaum and Ark Encounter. Please sign up in the foyer.
Enjoy the beautiful changing colors of Fall! See you on Sunday.
